Nourishing Those in Need was created from a simple idea: help people in a real, tangible way.

 

What started as one person with a dream and a bag has grown into a community effort focused on providing essential items to individuals experiencing hardship throughout the Chicagoland area. Each drawstring bag is thoughtfully packed with non-perishable food, hygiene products, and other necessities to help someone get through the day with a little more comfort and dignity. In addition to food and hygiene items, we also provide access to life-saving resources like Narcan.

We believe that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. Whether it’s a warm blanket, a meal, or a transportation pass, every item placed into a bag is intentional and meaningful.
